DINCHARYA :
- Massage with oil.
- Do not use soap. Make use of Ubtan - prepared with kesar (as per the skin type)
- Exercise Daily.
- Clothing-Silk and wool.
- Exposure to sunlight and fire to keep yourself warm.
- Kapha and Vata Prakruti is predominant in this season.
- Include following herbs in the diet : Black pepper, clove, Cinnamon, Roasted Cumin.
- Prefer light and warming foods.
HERBAL COFFEE :
Ingredients:
§ Water-2 cups
§ Jaggery – 2 tbsp
§ Whole Cardamom – crushed – 2 nos
§ Whole cloves-2
§ Dry Ginger powder- 1tsp (soonth)
§ Whole black pepper or Pepper powder- 1tsp
§ Cumin seeds- 1/2 tsp
§ Coriander seeds(whole dhania seeds)-2 tbsp
§ Basil or Tulsi leaves- 4-5
§ Sugar- 1 tsp
Brewing method:
1. In a pot, put all the ingredients in to the water and boil, let the jaggery dissolve completely in water.
2. Roast whole dhania seeds and sugar till caramalise. Add above water and cover the pot with the lid.
3. Strain the coffee into a coffee mug and have it while it is pipping hot.
